“I’d love to speak French, but I’m just not a ‘language person.’”
If I had a Euro for every time an adult student told me that, I’d be living in a chateau by now!
Hi, I’m Céline. I’ve been teaching my native French for over 20 years (with a QTS qualification to back it up), but if you step into one of my sessions, you won't find a dusty classroom or a strict teacher pointing at a blackboard. What you will find is a small, friendly group of people—just like you—who want to stop just "knowing" French words and start actually using them.
Why I keep things small (Max 5 people)
I’m a big believer in the "Rule of 5." Why? Because when there are only five of us, the "scary" part of speaking a new language disappears. It feels more like a chat with friends than a formal lesson. My goal is to make you feel comfortable. I’m naturally quite an empathetic teacher; I’ll follow your rhythm, adjust to how you learn best, and keep things creative and—most importantly—fun.
Come join our little community!
Our groups are lively, dynamic, and we laugh a lot. If you’ve been looking for a way to boost your confidence without the stress, I’d love to welcome you in.
We currently have a few rare chairs free in our ongoing Nottingham groups:
✨ Advanced Conversation: 3 spots left (Perfect if you want to keep your French "polished" through great chats).
✨ Advanced Class: 2 spots left (For those who love diving deeper into the "why" of the language).
✨ Intermediate Class: 1 spot left (The perfect bridge to finally feeling "fluent").
Brand New Beginners Group: I’m also starting a fresh group for absolute beginners on Thursday evenings! If you’re starting from zero, this is your tribe. We’ll take it slow, keep it simple, and get you talking from day one.
Ready for a chat?
If you're not sure which level fits you, don’t worry! Just send me a message. We can have a quick, friendly catch-up to find the perfect spot for you.
